Finally!

It has been a crazy week for us here at Casa Clark! My oldest daughter finished high school, which, I thought would be a big sigh of relief for me, but I found myself actually quite emotional. I think most moms who decide to stay home with their kids, and especially those who had a career and consciously choose to be a home maker will feel a bit adrift when the first one leaves the nest. After a bit of momma mourning, I realized it is only the beginning of another wonderful part of this journey called life and I will have a bit more time to myself and time to spend with my other daughter who has 3 more years of high school. She even said the other day, Sam had you for 3 years without me and now I get my time! I like that idea!

We also had our new delivery in the family! Finally little James showed up a bit late but very healthy and momma and baby and big sister are all doing fine! I adore babies, I know most people do, but they so much remind me of the newness of life and the possibilities of the future. That new baby smell isn’t bad either!

So, all is right with the world this Friday! I even get to see my favorite rock and roll band, Blue Oyster Cult this weekend and that makes me very happy, in fact, it wicked rocks!
